COURSE OVERVIEW

Designed for aspiring finance professionals, this course will nurture an understanding of the developments in, and the relationships between, specific areas of finance such as interdependence of national and global economics

The course provides a comprehensive education in finance for students from a variety of backgrounds, including those who have not previously studied the subject. You will study six core modules focusing on finance, as well as two optional modules to enrich your knowledge in other areas of business. The M.Sc Finance has a strong international dimension.

STUDY OPPORTUNITY IN LEEDS

You will spend approximately one semester in Leeds. During this period you will undertake further study at the University working with UK tutors and students.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants from India should have a 3-4 year Bachelor degree that is considered to be the equivalent of a UK Bachelor degree, from a recognised institution. Evidence of numeracy is also required. In order to meet the University’s English language requirement you should also have achieved 60% in Standard XII English language which is the equivalent to IELTS 6.0

ASSESSMENT

The range of assessment methods includes individual and group coursework assignments, group presentations and time constrained examinations.

On graduation, you will be able to seek employment in financial management, particularly within those enterprises seeking to respond to the international dimensions of business as you will have an understanding of international economic behavior, corporate funding and international trade.
